Mop'n'glow, etch'a'sketch, LoJack, choke'n'croak... Mop'n'glow is the teflon sealant package, etchesketch is the anti-theft window etching, LoJack theft recovery system, choke'n'croak is credit life and disability insurance. Other "aftermarket" products for loans and leases are gap protection (although most leases include this as standard like Saab Financial, GMAC etc.), tire sealant packages, DVD entertainment systems, gold trim packages, pinstriping, security systems, wheels and tires. And of course the most popular aftermarket is an extended warranty.
Many of the products can be highly desireable. I'm a big fan of exterior sealant packages. Older cars that have a sealant package on them hold up very well in my experience. Many of the anti-theft products are excellent ideas for high theft vehicles in urban markets and pay for themselves in insurance savings. All aftermarkets are extremely high mark-up. They're only a fraction of the price of the car
All of these "aftermarkets" can be cancelled unless they are physically installed on the car like paint sealants and LoJack. Sometimes in the short term contracts can be redone to reflect additions or deletions of aftermarket stuff, otherwise refunds and credits can be made.
