It's been three weeks since I buried my right front wheel in a expansion joint, lost a piece of my bumper (and balance weights) and critically damaged my tire.

On my way into the city again today, everything is not okay I'm doging potholes, joints, cracks left and right. Hands two and ten, this guy cuts in front of me on his way to the right lane as he moves out of my lane there it is...a sewer sized foot deep hole with ninety degree edges. I barely had any time to react and ended up sinking my left front wheel. Yes, "sinking" is the appropriate word here, these [BLEEP]in potholes in New York are ridiculous. FYI - I am wearing my flamesuit so please spare me the "why did you buy an Aero then?" I love the car and find myself making trips to Bucks County, PA where I can lose myself on the pristine winding roads just to be able to enjoy the vehicle to its fullest.

Just had to vent.

I am running 39PSI on my brand new Avons, and I think if I had any less (PSI) the rim would have went today. I think I can feel a slight wobble so off to the tire shop (again) but I got smart and bought the roadhazard warranty for 12.50 per tire. If I get belt seperation courtesy of the City of New York within 18 months of ownership I get new rubber, anything after is prorated.

Some of these potholes are effin huge! There is a jacuzi sized void on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. It's two to three feet deep and I would say five across...borderline negligence on the part of the City!

I can't even imagine having an Arc and keeping the suspension and rims intact...this stinks. Mr. Lynch et al, I envy you guys, all those relatively smooth CA roads...better yet anyone here from Bucks Co? Nothern Philly region? What a wonderful place to live!
