I just got into back country this past year. I've been a long time alpine skier, and well, let's just say that I'm pretty much addicted to the back country gig too. I currently have apline trekkers for the ascent, and then get to ski in my bomb-proof alpine boots (Lange Comp 120 racing boots=heavy). I'd like a nice light weight Randonee/AT set-up...but money will have to become less scarce before that happens.

Waiting and watching the sky...hoping for snow....but enjoying the mountain biking, backpacking and fly fishing until then...
