you're starting to need money in more than the gift shops. $10 here, $50 here for services, that sort of thing as hospitals become more and more underfunded. we're heading towards a US style system, but not yet (thank god). I can't get out of a hospitals without paying *something* these days. Last time I had to get crutches I was billed. Need a doctor's note? It's charge to you and not back to the provincial health plan
furthernote .. it's that US health system that's killing GM (and to a lesser degree FoMoCo & D-C)
