Most of you know that here in US we measure gas mileage in mpg (miles per gallon).
Well, in Sweden they measure how many Liters the car drink per Swedish Mil (10Km).
Is there an easy formula to convert mpg to Lit/Mil.
I have been sitting here trying to figure out how many Liter per Mil my Volvo 960 is drinking from using the 14 mpg it uses here.
It seems that I have to convert the numbers so many times so I get lost in translation and it doesn't look good.
I did get one number of roughly 1.8 lit/Mil maybe that is correct?
1 Mil=10Km
1 mile=1.61Km
1 Gal= 3.78 Lit
I know it is someone out there with an answer.
