Valentine 1, I was once driving back from Boston to NY late at night when the detector started to show a warning although very faint from behind, the rear arrow keeped flashing and slowly the strength meter climbed higher but I couldn't see anything, I slowed down and pulled over to the inside lane and sure enough a matt black cruiser with no markings slowly creaped up and passed me, darkened windows too! Very sinister! On sensitivity and accuracy I got a reading ahead and because of the speed of warning I knew a stationary car was ahead as I creasted a hill I spoted the car about a half mile away, I was amazed when I watched It reverse into its hidy hole and at the same time the V1 registered the reverse of approx 50 yards on its meter!
Intuition still rules the day though, if something feels 'off' then it probably is...
