... This Ebayers account was most likely terminated by Ebay. You will be ripped off. It takes alot to make Ebay and PayPal take actions like this. Additionally, many people have contacted me after auctions with fake "2'nd chance" offers. There are many holes in the Ebay system, but PayPal usually fixes that with refunded moneys. It is usually a slow road with a PayPal refund, but at leaset you get your moneys back. It is a road that you lose once you go outside Ebay. You got a quick refund, so you gotta' think there is a reason PayPal jumped on top of this. Something stinks with your seller! Now the seller is asking you to go outside the system (if this Email even really came from a seller and not a scammer).

Once you go outside the Ebay system, you are sunk! YUou have no rights, and you will need to resort to court action and/or filing huge amounts of paper work with your credit card company. One scenario I have seen is that you might be able to sue, but only in the state the seller is located in. I would forward this persons Email to Ebay so they will instruct you as to how you lose all rights and benefits with such a transaction. They will also terminate what is left of this sellers account and business on Ebay, as the E-mail you received will be considered against Ebay's TOS. If this is a scammer, Ebay will tell you so.

You are asking for real trouble brother if you are even considering purchasing from this guy and believing his cock-and-bull story about a theft of his warehouse. There is no wharehouse, there was no theft, and he was banned for poor service. Demand a police report at the very least, then call the police precinct in question to verify. I can bet I know what you will find out. Can you say Frudster?
