I'll post updates to this BB when I'm there.
I'm not going to make much of a European tour, though, since I'm from Holland originally, and just going with my family overthere to visit our relatives for the holidays. I will make a mini trip to Sweden and back to pick up my 9-5 SportCombi. I will get the full treatment in Trollhattan, with dinner, hotel, plant tour, Saab museum, etc., so I'll keep you guys posted about how it was.
The best part for me, though, is the pricing: 9% off MSRP, $2,000 bonus check. And we were traveling to Europe for the holidays anyways, so the check is pure profit. This is so much of an incentive that we decided to replace both my family's cars with new Saabs. It gets even better: we only need to drive one of the cars in Europe, so the other one (9-3 SportCombi) gets shipped directly to the US (ETA at my dealer is 12-9), so we save the Euro registration/insurance and drop-off fees, but still get the IDS pricing and check. On top of that, my dealer gave me an additional 4 digit discount for buying 2 cars at once. What more can you wish for?
Can't wait.
