I'm not sure it is a clone. I first encountered this stuff while in Australia in 2002 so its been around a while and is just now making it the USA. Whether it actually is stronger is up for debate (I found it had a larger effect, but that might just be a placebo thing). One thing I did notice about this stuff was it had a high level of B vitamins and thus was a great thing to drink before a night of bar hopping (B vitamins play a role in reducing hangovers).

I recall the label also said something about not drinking more than one bottle of this stuff a day, and I decided I didn’t want to drink anything with that warning label on it. Now I just stick to coffee and B vitamin pills…
