I have noticed the server offline late at night. That doesn’t give me a busy message. The page just won’t load and it seems to affect all the BBs at the same time and only for a very short period. The server busy message for me seems to happen mostly on the 9-5BB, but then I use that more so I might just see it more there. When the server is busy I usually just have to refresh the page, although sometimes it requires a few refreshes. Like yaofeng said, the error message is somewhat erratic. I just thought the server was occasionally overloaded at peak times and that with all your years running this site you likely knew about it. I have seen the message perhaps 20 times over the past few months. I think it usually happens in the late afternoon/evening on the east coast. I guess there is some peak period for global usage around then and that is usually when it occurs, but I can’t be sure since I made no notes about it happening. If I get it again, I will note the date, time, and BB.
