Years ago I remember reading about cost to bring in and keep a new customer was aprox. $900. I'm sure it is close to that or higher now. Service Rep. is probably trying to recoop money he had to pay because of his/her screw up. Not thinking about "THE BIG PICTURE", retaining current customer with good will, dealer should swallow their pride and leave it alone. Having a satisfied service customer who's praise on their treatment at said dealership will pay in the long run. Good luck and I have enjoyed this whole discussion. Really make us all think.
