I drive about 750 miles a week in a 76 99 ems and 230k+ miles on it. I nomally spend about 150-200 a month on the car which is cheaper than a car payment. It really doesn't matter if you get a NG 900 or C900 or a 9000, the key is finding one with limited problems and has been well maintained. For the most part you will find that the new the car the fewer the problems since they haven't developed yet and someone hasn't deceided that it didn't need to be fixed. I would bet you end up with a better C900 or 9000 for 3-4k than a 3-4k NG 900, but if you only spend 1k on a C900, the C900 will need a more work. Then agian if you get a C900 for only 1k you have 2k that you can invest into the car which can fix alot of problems.
