This subject should be banned just as religion and politics are here. There have been countless arguements regarding brands of gasoline here and in various media venues. A specific station may be giving your car trouble but I doubt it's the gas supplier. The station may have poor quality control - leaks in tank - hatch open while raining? Most arguements in the media are that there is no difference in gasoline. If your car is knocking then a higher octane is required. Running rough? NOT the brand, but maybe the holding tank of the supplier or gas station itself. Only fools pay extra for high octane when the owners manual does not specify such. There is a local no name mini-mart/gas station here, DBS or something like that...guess who supplies thier gasoline? MOBIL. And it's like that all across the country. I personally have never had any problems that I can attribute directly to " bad gasoline" in my 25 yrs of driving. I personally do not buy EXXON MOBIL products due to the fact of thier gazillions of profit recently reported yet THEY STILL HAVE NOT FULLY PAID FOR THE VALDIZ DISASTER AND THE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT.
