I am driving my third Saab currently, a 1991 900T convertible special edition. The first one was a '85 900T 4 door, didn't like the automatic transmission, and I kept looking for an SPG. After looking for 3 years, I found an SPG, and started looking for a convertible with the SPG trim, the one I found two years after driving the SPG. I kept both cars for two years until family expansion forced me to trade the SPG with an SUV.
There is nothing I am looking for now, I feel I own a rare Saab that is extremely beautiful, and a piece of Saab history. I plan to keep it forever. It's Saab first, convertible is nice, but not a requirement.
I don't feel different than other (hardtop) Saab owners, it's just that I kept looking for the ultimate Saab, and feel that I have found one.
