Because we never got the amazing mid engine turbo 5s !
The ordinary 5 was a great little tractor, excellent in snow with oodles of space for its size. I believe it was the precursor of the small hatchback, which later made the VW Rabbit an icon of the auto industry. (BTW, VW is resurrecting the Rabbit nameplate for the next generation Golf). But the 5 was no racer, for sure. The tail end had the bad habit of wanting to kiss the front end...
