Take C900 from US to Germany - worth it?

Am just venting. The conundrum: Moving from Durham, North Carolina to an Army base in Grafenwoehr, Germany for 4yrs. According to contacts there, it's somewhat rural, not much public transit, my housing will be about 25-30min from job on base, and recommends that if I don't bring a car, will want to acquire one there. Had delusions of not needing a car at all, but now shot down. If it was just a year's time, would put my 21yo C900 in storage stateside - don't laugh, the car is a rock and paid for :) And am too sentimental to sell it (was still in HIGH SCHOOL when bought it used). But x 4 years, it'd cost many times what car is worth to store it. The rub is, if I ship it over, I understand Germany's roadworthiness evals are really strict, and I just discovered some small but nonetheless real rust-through in 2 rocker panels. And the dragging rear brake will need to be fixed. Money and time I don't have to spend, as am scrambling to finish remodeling my house here before renting out while gone. I have about 5 weeks left. Aye, I just don't know - I guess I drag the old car along somehow. Sell plasma. Just too attached to it.
