People get very, very confused and make seriously questionable decisions about what they CAN afford and what they should afford. Are you saving for retirement? Are you renting your residence? If you are not saving enough money each month, I'd suggest getting rid of one of the cars. I'd keep the Honda if you think that you can sell the Subie for a fair price based on your purchase price.
Even if you could afford them (the above-definition of afford, not the live hand to mouth kind of afford), I think the two cars are too similar in their nature to keep them both. I'd get rid of the Subie and get something fun. I'd get a Miata. Loads of fun, reliable, cheap.
A 900CVT is fun too, but not as cheap to own/run, still one to consider.
That said, my wife and I typically have 3 cars at any given time (my daughter is 1 year old, so she's not driving much these days). I have my daily driver and a sports car that only comes out when the sky is blue and the roads are dry...
