You obviously never drove in Canberra or Perth!!
#1 Yes. Cars have steering wheels too! :)
#2 It's a road rule to indicate when changing lanes. In some places you have to indicate when you are intending to exit a round-about to let other drivers get onto the round-about safely.
# 3 Yes. That's why I drive a SAAB- indicators are on the left! I have trouble trying to adapt to a Japanese or Aussie bult car and end up switching the wipers on too!
