We met a bunch of hikers in from Bishop, many doing the North Lake-to-South Lake hike, and a few going over Dusy Basin. Also a lot doing the Bishop pass - Piute Pass.
My next thing is that I want to get into the high country in the winter with my alpine touring ski setup.
If you're back through next summer, drop a line. I might be that way too. (I live up "north", near Tahoe... not bad country in itself, but the mountains just seem small around here compared to, well, you know.)
Thanks for the kind words.
