Tire choices for an '02 Viggen

First time poster here.
I own an '02 Viggen. I have had (as of yesterday) two flat tires in just over four years of (light) driving. The tires are Pirelli P6000s, 215/45-17 size. The nearest tire store is a Goodyear operation. The manager there suggests -- instead of Pirellis (which he will sell me if I choose that line) -- Dunlop FM901s for about $120 each. The Pirellis are about $60 more per tire.
Questions:
1. Is there a problem with Pirellis such that I should choose another brand? Are other Viggen drivers having similar troubles?
2. Should I swap out all four tires, seeing as I have about 23k miles on the Viggen? I am not enough of an expert to know if I can have 1 Dunlop and 3 Pirellis on the car.
3. Would anyone recommend another brand entirely, and, if so, which
one(s)?
I went on Tire Track and got completely lost... Please help. Many thanks.
