Anyone know any tiling contractors? I have some damaged wood floors at the entrance to my condo from the bad drainage on the ground floor here, and I want to rip up a strip about 3x10 and replace the damaged engineered wood flooring with travertine, but I dont know how the joint between the wood flooring and the tiling would, could, or should be treated. The 10" expanse flows into what would be the dining room of the condo, so I dont want an cap in the middle of that room across the whole distance.
My quandry is whether such tile can be butted-against wood flooring without such a thing?
