As far as my cars... they get names if they deserve it.. some of my vehicles do, some don't.
"Breakdown Betty" was named by someone else for a school activity bus I used to drive when I was 22. It was undeserved, because when I was behind the wheel, I only had one failure in 33,000 miles, but with others the bus would fail every trip.
"The green bomb" was an old police car I bought at auction for $76.50.
My SAABS? only 2 out of the 4 had names. "NOGO" was my 67 Stroker 96,(didn't climb 9% grades at 7000 feet very fast). "doughnation" was another police auction gem, named by the perp (paperwork in car, his drug business had a name) who was selling drugs to the cops at a doughnut store. 91 900 4 door
