After the F1 race in Indy, we went up to a lakehouse compound and had a group of us old farts sleeping bunkhouse style. I use a CPAP machine, so I didn't snore, but lots of the other inmates were wheezing, gagging, snorting.....you get the picture. I didn't really get any sleep either though, as there was an orchestra of respiratory harmony..........I mentioned to one of the tenors in the group about his sleep disorder, and he went to see a specialist who performed about 90 minutes of excavation in his nasal passages. Now he says that all kinds of positive things have happened to his well being. Sleeps better, less fatigue......even reported that his back was not so sore, but I don't see the connection there. Good luck -- there has to be a solution for changing the architecture in your bifurcation to allow better flow characteristics.
