If you ask my Dad to define Luxury he would say Packard, or Cadillac. I would say Rolls-Royce. If you compared a 67 Caddy to a 67 SAAB, the features on the Caddy, like Cruise control, tilt wheel, power windows, automatic trunk release, etc. would make the Caddy the winner. Those options weren't avaliable on the 1967 SAAB. Now skip ahead from 67 to 07....Seems like all of the new cars from Volkswagen on up to Chevy, now come equipped with lots of stuff that used to optional. (Delay wipers, power steering, fog lights, etc.) So will someone define a luxury car to me? Other than "I'll know it when I see it." SAAB is considered a luxury car, but who came to that conclusion, and what does it have that a Malibu doesn't. (other than the cachet.)
Thanks
Jim 91 and 93 900s and 2002 9-5 being delivered at the end of the week.
