When I was younger the idea of paying to have somebody do something to my saab was insane...mostly because I was a poor student. Sometimes there is a great value in DIY, but if you also think that your own time is valuable, it can be worth it to have someone else do the labor.
People sometimes get up in arms when someone takes an idea that out there for the public and applies to a business...sort of "I could have done that" attitude...but you know what, you didn't and he did.
If I get a recipe for cookies on line, and purchase the baking supplies, bake the cookies, package them and send off for $10 a dozen, did I rip off the recipient of the cookies because they could have 'just taken the same recipe and made the cookies themselves'?
