We are patching to beat the deadline. Not really a big deal for our systems. Just an O/S patch which is something that should be done regularly anyway. The slightly ugly and surprising wrinkle is Java. It needs to be upgraded or patched for the timezones. Why Java implemented this internally I can't say but on the surface that seems silly. The reason it becomes ugly is because there are often multiple installations of java and it is included as part of many individual applications.
BTW technically the time for most computer O/S's (real ones at any rate) won't be wrong as they use UTC anyway. They will just display it wrong for humans that like things displayed in their time zone. The computer will still know exactly what time it is. Of course for the people that use them and have applications that rely on timezones that isn't much of a comfort.
Oh if your talking MS then all bets are off. I know this has been causing the MS group at work some small issues and patches from MS have been a problem. Apparently exchange is a particular mess to get sorted out fully.
