- Reminders when you turn the car off. It's nice to be told when you start the car that 'x' needs to be attended to. However, I believe that BMW has the best idea of not only reminding you when the car starts but also when you turn the car off. Usually I'm in a hurry to get somewhere so telling me that the windshield wiper fluid is low when I'm on my way doesn't really do me much good but it's nice to get the reminder again when I turn the car off at home. Brilliant!
- Heated windshield wipers. Subaru has got this down and I don't know why others don't do it as well. It's the little heater at the bottom of the windshield that keeps the wipers from freezing. Admittedly, I've never actually driven a Subie in freezing temp so I don't know how well they work but it sure seems like a great idea.
- Side mirrors that lower when in reverse. While the button is handy to lower the passenger side mirror, I like when they lower automatically when the car is in reverse. One less thing I have to do.
- Fender-mounted side markers. Why are these not required here in the States like they are in Europe? Makes lane changes much safer (assuming you can get people to actually use the turn signals).
- Sun visor above the rear view mirror. I love the tiny visors some cars have above mirror.
