In fact I use it all the time even in city driving. As soon as I start the car I turn on the cruise w/ my thumb to the left. And I like how controling speed is done to the same direction since fingers flex only inward while holding the steering wheel. I just don't feel comfortable using cruis on steering wheel because it requires more movement; for someone who cruise as much as I do it really matters, and it's too out in the open to use a lot; would be distracting to the passengers. The responsiveness is excellent in Saabs compared to other cars I drove.
