I'll probably wait a while too, BUT tonight is FORECAST to be the last cold night, isn't it?? But since winter didn't start until mid-January, we probably haven't had our last snow yet, and those last WET snows are what makes the roads slippery.
The real reason is that the snows are on the 85 900S that didn't pass inspection (rust) and the 97 Subaru that needs engine work. So the 4-runner has new non-snow tires and is taking the weather pretty good.
Can't count on winter ending before May in northern VT, and then I've seen snow on Mother's Day before too. (and there is that 2-3 feet of snow waiting to melt in the yard...)
