I'm a bit of a watch guy. My old man is a clockmaker, and I've been going to clock/watch conventions since I was a little guy. I've never heard of this brand. I'm not saying I know all about watches, though. All I know is that I've never encountered them.
My take on watches - don't get a Rolex, that's like buying a BMW. They perform well, but they're normally purchased for show.
I'm an Oris man. I have 2. BC3 and Miles Davis Worldtimer. My next choices would be Bell & Ross or Omega. Maybe Fortis. Perhaps IWC if I had the dough.
If you want to go more out of the mainstream but still very classy, how about Zenith, Minerva, or Chronoswiss? All top notch, but not your normal Rolex.
What are you looking for exactly? Fashion? Certain complications/functions? timeless? classic? flashy? stopwatch? dual time? dressy? sporty?
If you're spending a few grand on a timepiece, carefully consider a number of options, and make sure you see the choices up close. Put the watch on to see that it's the size/weight/look you expected.
