Try again or a different dealer, great way to go... Some dealers want you to prove your eligibility for GM Employee pricing so make sure you have your authorization number up front. And I've seen it where someone was eligible for Employee pricing but only received the less desireable Supplier pricing because they didn't ask the right questions.
Once your at a Saab dealer that knows what they're doing and you have your authorization number you should be welcome to look at the actual invoice with the GM Employee price clearly marked, PLUS you are entitle to all applicable incentives as rebates. Employee price is roughly 10% less than MSRP and incentives, which must be taken as rebates for GM Employees will reduce this dramatically.
It can be quite difficult to navigate the incentive matrix with differing incentives on different models and different incentives even on the same car, for different methods of payment, purchase or lease for example.
So try again, perhaps you were at a dealer who has inexperienced sales folks or multiple lines of cars, or maybe you just didn't commnicate.
If you're looking at other luxury imports and have a GM discount, the Saab comes right to the forefront of the value spectrum.
