oh Mike! that's got to be an adjustment in the printer driver, just like my HP is.

We got my Dad an Epson, the one that has 6 (or is it 8?) different color cartridges. That was a couple of years ago. We did it because his previous Epson really did a great job. The new one is a little pricy on the ink, but it really rocks in picture quality. So he uses his old Epson for B&W and the new one for kick ass color using high quality paper.

Early this year my sister got an Epson multifuntion printer (scanner, printer, maybe fax too?) that has the same print engine as dad's. She is very happy too.

Me? I still have an HP 6122. One they don't make since forever ago. What does it do for me? All front access, fits on a shelf in my home office closet, AND it prints duplex when you want it too. No muss no fuss. Does ok color, but not in the same time zone as the Epsons.
