was showing the claim adjuster all my receipts. The last C900 i owned the wife (now x-wife) totaled it on her way back from picking it up at the indy garage after i just had new wheel bearing, front struts and a/c convert from R12 to R134a. The check rose from something like $1200 to $3000.

As Wavey said, no matter what they offer you at the end you have the right to keep the car. They might knock a couple hundred dollars off the final check, but get the car back.
