You're lucky they don't give tickets for underinflated tires, overweight vehicles, and just plain stupidity (such as yapping on cellphones when driving, eating, drinking, etc.). I see morons reading books, putting on lipstick, etc., all while doing 60mph or better.
Any yahoo can get a license in this country for simply breathing it seems.
You should have known to turn on your headlights with the wipers (it's the law in MD too) if only as common sense. Should know basics like turn signals to change lanes (note I said change lanes...not ask permission to change lanes and then get po'd because no one 'lets' you in).
Use this as a learning experience, but we all feel your pain.
