Just got back from the same Aero Academy that Steve was in.
WOW!!! To think I almost passed up this opportunity due to a busy schedule. MAKE TIME FOR THIS ***AND*** BRING YOUR SPOUSE OR SON/DAUGHTER IF THEY LOVE CARS. Many people said they regretted not including their spouse. There was only one guest (spouse) that attended. It is well worth it!
I also learned proper seating position and already had correct steering wheel grip (hands at 3 and 9 o'clock) but learned why all of this was so important. The first time they throw you into a skid you see why. After a few times at you you perfect the move. A lot of people had no idea how to grab the wheel. I had no idea how to grab it either I just so happened to be doing it correctly because its naturally comfortable to me.
We had a great group who had lots of fun and I really liked all the instructors. They acted as is this was their first class they ever taught... a great deal of energy and very eager to teach us. I found them pretty darn funny too. They kept it very fun.
I didn't want it to end... 2 days of a LOT of driving and I wasn't the least bit ready to leave.
