Yes i did 3 years ago,i had a 93 900 sedan in pristine condition(sold it because i could not afford the Ny insurance- i regret it to this day,and probably will for the rest of my life),but i am deviating. So i did ,because i had a "check engine" light on,and some minor stuff like alignment and had to have all fluids changed. To make long story short,i paid close to 400$ and the next day the "check engine" light came on again.(i felt cheated)I mean, the car i had was so beautiful i wanted to have it serviced at a saab dealer, but after that visit i never came back. So, then i took my car to Roland in Brooklyn and the reason the "check engine" light came on was the O2 sensor(which is much cheaper than $400 ).That was my experience, some might have a different opinion, but you've got to try for yourself to really know if they are bad or not.
Well i dont think i helped you much with my answer, but you better look for an indy place close to you,but if you live in Brooklyn or queens i would definitely go to Roland .He is good and fair. You can find his telephone and address on this website under "mechanics".
