I loaded Vista Business and found that neither my Compaq IJ650 nor Maxtor ATA board would work. Luckily, the board manufacturer for the ATA board (not Maxtor) had a driver update. Compaq, or HP now, does not have a driver update for Vista. If I need to print anything, I have to boot up on another hard drive loaded with MS XP Pro. XP Pro uses about half the RAM that Vista does. Vista is ok, but I don't see any real improvement, just lots of differences. For instance, if you load any non-MS software, everytime you launch it, Vista asks if you really want to run it. It's a pain until you find out how to change security to allow them to run. Also, my Vonage wireless router will not let me network to other PCs in my house while I'm on Vista. If I reboot to XP Pro, it works fine... Ron
