75 is ten over the real limit. In some states you can get away with this if the state operates under the "reasonable and proper" rule that often works on the logic that some small amount over the limit (usually up to 10 mph) is reasonable for conditions.
But silly as it is, 9 mph over is more likely thought reasonable than 10 mph, at least here in "reasonable and proper" New Hampshire. This comes from our local chief of police.
Given that the ticket was in error you might get off, or at least get a break on this one. Maybe it can be plead to a lesser offense.
