I am a lobbyist for a wind energy power line development company. I see who makes the laws and what they stand to earn on the back end, don't forget I take my slice of the pie too. It isn't about political parties, it's about tax breaks, development grants, and running over land owners "for the greater good" via condemnation proceedings and the like. This is all done under the guise of "saving the Earth", protecting the environment, and preventing cancer.
Because of the hip new ideology of green technology my client's profits have increased 200% in the last two-three years; thank you Mr. Gore.
Ever seen the movie "Thank you for smoking"? That's my life with wind energy; just as corrupt, but a different group of people.
There is truth behind everything, including profits. Should BPA be banned? Maybe, but independent university studies that aren't funded through grants from one side or the other are as rare as hens' teeth.
