So yeah... you don't need to push this material much to have it leach out. If it's an item you fill and drain quickly (like a water glass) I wouldn't worry too much, but if you're consuming things out of polycarbonate where the liquid sits for hours/days you ARE being exposed to BPA. The health effects are another matter and always subject to the ills of data fluffing, but there's absolutely no denying that you're exposed to it.
