The highest-efficiency furnaces condense the flue exhaust to wring the latent heat out of the gas. If you have a PVC/CPVC flue pipe, then you have a condensing furnace.
This pipe has to be able to drain. Where it comes out of the side of the furnace (if upflow) there should be a drain hose at the bottom. Possibly tied together with the AC condensate piping, possibly separate to a neutralization tank/vessel.
Either this flue drain is plugged and overflowing, or the secondary heat exchanger is leaking. If the later, don't run the furnace until checked by service technician. It's also possible that the flue pipe doesn't drain/slope properly back to the furnace, but then you see dripping from flue pipe joints. This also implies a leaking flue pipe, not good.
