Just an opinion........... Posted by Herb Hirsch [Email] (#114) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Herb Hirsch) on Fri, 20 Jun 2008 07:55:25 In Reply to: right time to buy a Saab 9-7x?, Tarheel, Fri, 20 Jun 2008 06:04:37 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
You may save even more by waiting......
Just this morning I read a NY Times article regarding sales of smaller cars. Cars like the Prius, Ford Focus, Corolla and Honda Civic are in short supply and manufacturing is running at maximum capacity. At the same time SUV and truck sales are down 40%-50% and manufacturing facilities are being shut dowm for weeks at a time.
As long as gas prices keep rising, these conditions will continue. Used (or even new) 9-7X's should be available at very attractive prices....as long as the prospect of $100+ tanks of gas don't bother you. A friend, a Saab salesman in fact, said they inhale gas are probably good for 10-12mpg.
The long answer to your question is that the prices you're seeing for
9-7X's will only go down....unless there is a huge oil discovery in NC.
