A few points.... When I got a new grille, I got the type that works for either with the purchase of a conversion kit. My kit consisted of new orifices and knobs, because the high - low - medium settings will be different on natural gas. It works great.
Depending on how far away from your gas tap your grille is located, it might not be possible to use the hose that comes in these conversion kits. Mine was too short and I was going to make an extension. But...I ended up doing it the right way and calling a plumber, who not only installed a very high quality flexible gas hose, but also a high quality shutoff valve at the gas tap. It cost me about $125 but was well worth it. The convenience of never having to worry about the LP tank running out is great.
Good luck!
