The pricing level that eEuroparts sells parts for is more or less wholesale, and is not the level that most mechanics sell parts for. I have found that mechanics sell parts at dealer list price, sometimes more (the guy who infrequently repairs my Audi). By doing so, they take on the risk of providing a warranty to remove and repair a part if it should fail in some period of time. Expecting a random mechanic to charge you wholesale for parts is unrealistic.
Regarding the other work, I can not comment.
