Jerrith Fencing Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 7 Sep 2008 12:49:26 In Reply to: Pool Fencing, gmcgrath, Sun, 7 Sep 2008 08:49:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Our local community still allows chain link fencing for yards containing pools, but our fence is now nearly 30 years old and we would like to replace it with a Jerrith. Most building codes will require the fence to be "non-climbable", with a maximum width between vertical pickets, and to have a self closing and self latching gate with a high mounted lockable release. Some codes require a double layer of fencing! One fence enclosing the entire yard and the other enclosing just the pool.
Although their website isn't great, Jerrith's fence is one of the strongest aluminum fences available, and comes in black, white, a bronze tinted finsh, and maybe a couple more colors to appease Home Owner Associations.
