The car is designed to be quite happy with weight on the wheels - that's where it can take not only sitting on the wheels for years and years, but the impact of shocks (bumps, etc.) That actually spreads the force out to the pickup points on the chassis.
A jack stand will concentrate all the force in one spot, one not normally designed for prolonged loads. The jacking points are for repairs, not storage.
I think you're overthinking this one. Just let it sit on the tires. If you've got a slow leak, fix it - you don't want a tire to go flat. But otherwise, decent air, and that's it. Tires die. Depending on how many miles you're driving this car, the tires will likely dry out before they wear out, and modern radials aren't that prone to developing a 'set.'
