I can tell you not to worry. I think laws state parts must be made available for 10 years after the last car comes off the production line, and you will still be able to get parts.
Saab won't disappear, I'm sure of that.
Plus, I have a '91 Alfa 164S and a '91 Peugeot 405 Mi16 (am I a glutton for punishment? HAHA), and can get new parts for both cars. The only place I struggle is when you are looking for things like interior trim...that's when you turn to the web and the user groups to get what you need.
No need to worry when you have the Internet, eBay and other passionate car owners out there.
