We had a lively discussion at work today. Lets say you had money to buy a car, and some extra to fix it up. If you had your choice, would you buy a CreamPuff that needs mechanical repairs, or a Rust Bucket that does not? You would either spend the money on body work/interior repair on the beater, or mechanical work on the "creampuff". The shop guys (they fix trains) seemed to think that engine work is cheaper than body work...
What do you think?
