There will be at least three Saabs (9000 and 2x 900s) racing at the 24 Hours of Lemons in Houston on the weekend of 2/28 and 3/1, of course there will be about 100 cars total of most every flavor you can imagine, odd pagentry, and of course the crowd favorite awarding the peoples curse award. Oh don't miss that! It's med-e-evil! The winning team's car gets *crushed* right then and there to the chants from the crowd, toga toga toga. Ok, maybe they are saying more more more! Ok, so you don't believe me... See videos on youtube with search for 24 hours of lemons peoples curse. Have you ever seen an earth mover rip the engine/trans from a car in mid air? This is the place to do that as well as see cars do SCCA or NASCAR like manuvers. You know, go fast, hit things, break down, get fixed and get back in the race.
Find more information about the 10 race series at http://www.24hoursoflemons.com.
The Houston event is the only one semi close to the mid west, others being farther East (CT, SC, OH, SC, LA) or decidedly out West (CA, CA, NV).
Come out and visit us, see saabs do things they were *meant* to do! Bring spare parts (just drive *your* c900T to the event - spare parts on the hoof!) Hey, stop eyeing my c900T, and get your hands off that!
