Do you live in the snow belt? Posted by Bill Homer [Email] (#3427) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Bill Homer) on Tue, 20 Jan 2009 20:14:07 In Reply to: new-to-me 9-5 vs MB E-class, KevinM, Tue, 20 Jan 2009 19:23:56 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Do I have to add anything to this? If so, I helped a couple of new Benz drivers up the small hill near my house last week after they went sideways into the gutter; the Sport package tires look great, are a hazard in the snow. I suppose that if you bought dedicated snow tires that things might be different.
I can't imagine that cost of hourly service is too much worse than on a SAAB; my local SAAB dealer now charges $150 per hour (but any work I can't do myself goes to my indy). However, if my Audi is any indication of the work involved in servicing German cars, there is a lot more prep work to be done before one can access ANY part on the car.
